I wanted an auto-scroll guitar tab app with a built-in metronome. The App Store had a few for $2–3, none did what I needed. So I built it.

Hands-free practice, per-song memory, smart song flow. Built solo. Shipped, used, still iterating.

Open science meets orange skies: K-12 educators' engagement with computational notebooks to explore scientific events with human impacts

NSF-funded research with the Show Your Work project: how do K–12 teachers actually engage with computational notebooks when the data is local and personal?

We studied 8 teachers working with air quality data from Orange Skies Day — the September 2020 wildfire smoke event that turned the Bay Area sky red.

Found three modes of interaction: interpreting the phenomenon, working with the dataset, or integrating both. Implications for teacher education and computational literacy.
